Paint-Bot Degree Show

Finally got around the posting this. This is the full video, as well as some images from the piece I exhibited in the Glasgow School of Art Degree Show 2009. Filming, motion tracking, animating, compositing and editing was done over the course of four weeks...not counting the time I spent preparing everything else for assessment.

Thankyou to the guys at the Digital Design Studio for letting me render everything off!

June 2009

Made using: 3DS-Max, Boujou, After Effects, Final Cut Pro.

This piece won me the oppertunity to exhibit in the RSA's New Contemporaries show in April 2010.

Press:

"David Jacobs also deserves mention at this point for his amusing and rather complicated explanation of how a robot painted his space with bold coloured lines."

Another Tardis Test

It's Bigger On The Inside

Combining two sets of footage to make my room set look like it's inside the TARDIS. I'm going the reverse the keyed out area so eventually my character can walk and reach out from sone set to the other. Ignore the leftover doorhadle bit...
