Trailer (2009)
Just posting this because I didn't finish it yet, and I won't be able to do anything untill the new year. I will however be posting my christmas cards throughout the holiday, just so there's somthing going on. Simple Compositing
Compositing is where you superimpose CG elements onto live action elements. Here, I just have a character compped onto a photo, with some planes to allow for shadow projection...and a box attempting to be the shadows for my little sculpture. Eventually I will use acual footage as the background for the animation.
Upcoming Animation
Still from something I'm working on at the moment.
Again, random animation. One day, when I have the time, and perhaps a better computer, I'll storyboard something proper. At the moment I'm still just playing around. I will hopefully eventually be compositing some of these character, most of which I haven't worked out yet (thanks Extended Essay!), onto live footage.
I'll record a short interview, for the sound. Then I'll film the space, syncing in any live action interation, perhaps using fishing wire to knock things over. After that I animate and comp the characters onto the footage.

Managed to get it up with sound at last! This is the piece I made for the "It's All A Bit Too Casual" show, back in October.

These are pretty ace. I really want to try and do some live-action stuff, with CGI at some point.
